"വി. കുര്‍ബാന: നമ്മുടെ കര്‍ത്താവായ യേശുമിശിഹായുടെ മനുഷ്യാവതാരത്തിന്‍റെ ഉദ്ദേശ്യം, തന്‍റെ ശരീരം മൂലം നമുക്കു രക്ഷ തരുന്നതിനായിട്ടാണ്. കര്‍ത്താവിന്‍റെ മദ്ധ്യസ്ഥത തന്‍റെ ശരീരം കൊണ്ടാണ്. "എന്‍റെ ശരീരം ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നവന്‍ എന്നിലും ഞാന്‍ അവനിലും വസിക്കും. മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്‍റെ ശരീരം നിങ്ങള്‍ ഭക്ഷിക്കുകയും തന്‍റെ രക്തം നിങ്ങള്‍ കുടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നില്ലെങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ജീവനില്ല", എന്നു കര്‍ത്താവു കല്പിച്ചതിനെ നാം ഓര്‍ക്കണം. വഞ്ചിക്കപ്പെടരുത്. എത്ര കുറഞ്ഞുപോയാലും നാല്‍പതാം ദിവസംതോറുമെങ്കിലും വി. കുര്‍ബാന അനുഭവിക്കണമെന്നാണ് സഭയുടെ നിയമം. ആദ്യകാലങ്ങളില്‍ ആഴ്ചതോറും എല്ലാവരും വി. കുര്‍ബാന അനുഭവിച്ചിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ ഈ കാലത്ത് കുര്‍ബാന അനുഭവിക്കുന്നതില്‍ മനുഷ്യര്‍ മടിയന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്നു. ഭക്ഷണം കൂടാതെ ഒരാള്‍ക്കു ജീവിപ്പാന്‍ കഴിയാത്തവണ്ണം ഒരാത്മാവിനു കര്‍ത്താവിനെ ഭക്ഷിക്കാതെ ജീവിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുന്നതല്ല. അതിനെ തടുക്കുന്നതിനും അയോഗ്യമായി ഭക്ഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും സാത്താന്‍ സദാ ഉത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അവന്‍റെ കെണിയില്‍ നാം വീഴരുത്. കര്‍ത്താവിന്‍റെ രക്ഷയെ അഗണ്യമാക്കുകയും അരുത്. കര്‍ത്താവിനെ കൂടാതെ നമുക്ക് ഒന്നും ചെയ്വാന്‍ കഴിയുന്നതല്ല. തന്നെ നാം ഉള്‍ക്കൊള്ളുന്നില്ലെങ്കില്‍ അവന്‍ നമ്മില്‍ വ്യാപരിക്കുന്നില്ല. അതു കൂടാത്ത പള്ളിപ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളാണ് പള്ളിയില്‍ കലഹവും വഴക്കും ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നത്. ആകയാല്‍ ദൈവത്തിന്‍റെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കണം. എല്ലാ നോമ്പുകളിലും ഭയഭക്തിയോടുകൂടെ നിങ്ങള്‍ കുമ്പസാരിച്ചു വി. കുര്‍ബാന കൈക്കൊള്ളണം. ഇത് ആബാലവൃദ്ധം ചെയ്യണം. "

LITURGICAL CALENDAR 2019 - 2020
The liturgical year of the Malankara Orthodox Church is different from the normal calendar year. It is organized in a way to commemorate the important events in the incarnate (earthly) life of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. So for the Church, every liturgical year is an annual celebration of the incarnation of God the Son for our salvation.
The liturgical year of the Malankara Orthodox Church begins with the Koodosh E’tho Sunday. (The Sunday, which comes after 29th of October of every year, is counted as the Koodosh E’tho Sunday). Sunday, 3rd of November, 2019 will be Koodosh E’tho (Sanctification of the Church) this year. The liturgical year continues through seven seasons commemorating different events in the earthly life of our Lord Jesus Christ and end on Saturday, 31st of October 2020. It is organized as seven seasons, each one specially commemorating important events occurred in the earthly life of our Lord. In each season the Church commemorates the events in the earthly life of our Lord, celebrates the feasts through observing fasts related to them.

MOSC NEWS BULLETTIN
The online publication of "THE OFFICIAL WEEKLY NEWS BULLETIN" of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church was started on 1st of January 2018, with the blessings and approbation of H.H. Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Paulose II Catholicos. This project is a maiden initiative directed and published by H.G. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Yulios Metropolitan, the President of the Media Department of the MOSC. This news bulletin apart from covering the main events of the Church, encompasses discourses, articles, interviews etc on the Orthodox heritage in liturgy, theology, spirituality, Church history, syncing them all in contemporary realms. This is an easy accessible medium through all the devices, by which people especially the faithful can stay updated and enriched through the information.

മലങ്കര സഭ മാസിക | Malankara Sabha Magazine
Malankara Sabha Masika is the official periodical cum journal of the Indian Orthodox Church. It bagan publishing on the 8th of August, 1946, from Devalokam the Catholicate Palace, after the diligent endeavours of Mr. A. M. Varkey, who was then Association Secretary of the Church, and with the blessings and approbation from H.H. Moran Mar Baselios Geevarghese II Catholicos. The first Chief Editor of this publication was Very Rev. Fr. M. C. Kuriakose Ramban. Apart from the modules like Malankara Sabha History, Theology, Contemporary and contextual thoughts, many other varied topics are encompassed and published through Malankara Sabha Masika.
